Library

Policies

Students in good standing may check out up to two books at a time using their student ID. Books are checked out for two weeks and may be renewed up to two times if another student does not have the book on hold. Students may place up to three books on hold at a time through the library catalog in ClassLink.

Students may not check out or renew books if they have overdue books or outstanding fines. Fines remain on a student's library account as long as they are enrolled in Princeton ISD. The library does not charge fines for overdue books. However, if a book is overdue by 30 days, it will automatically be marked as lost and the student's account is charged the replacement cost of the book. This charge is removed if the book is returned. Students are also responsible for the cost of damaged books.

Students and parents or guardians will receive weekly automated email notifications if the student has overdue books or outstanding fines. Students may check the status of their library account by logging into the library catalog.
